Everyday Gratitude

Today I am grateful for life. I am grateful for all the good things of life. I am grateful for the grace of moving to and fro without an accident. I am grateful I would be witnessing children's day tomorrow. I wish I had kids at home. I love babies so much. Yesterday was African Day and I am so proud of being an African, a Nigerian woman. I proud of African culture, tradition and norms. I proud of our delicious meals and food. I am proud of my own tribal food, wears and language. I am a Nigerian from Cross River State, residing in the economic city of Calabar. I speak Efik, Ibibio and English language fluently. Today I am so grateful for life.

 Today I am grateful for life. I am grateful for good health. I am grateful for peace. Just being happy without anything being responsible for it. I am grateful for all the things I have in my life. I am grateful for my friends and the good people I have around me. I am grateful for love. I haven't found one yet but I am grateful. I am grateful for slow living. Waking up everyday, not rushing over anything and just living. So far, the feeling is wonderful. And I learned to trust God through the frustrations, obstacles, fears, tears and rejections. In my life I have seen the power of God. This is why I keep myself for Him and stay faithful to Him. No matter who I turn out to be, I will be grateful to God. I have gone through a lot already but each day, I thank God that those obstacles, bitterness and frustrations never took my life. I kept living. Work is life, life is work. Work is fulfillment. Work saves us from depression, anxiety, frustrations of life, death and troubles. Also, it pays our bills. So a person who isn't working is a dead soul. Even though your parents are well to do or your brother, husband or whosoever is catering for you, it is good you have something doing. This is very necessary because at the end of the day, you see a housewife complaining about money and her husband's behaviours.
