I took this photo on May 14, 2019 around 10:53 am. Then I was done with school, staying at home and just doing something that gives me happiness. I desperately wanted to go for my service. I wasn't called, so I had to wait for March 2020. It wasn't fun. I had no money, it was tough. Life was so harsh on me. Today, I am done with my first degree, went for service and came back alive. I was always crying, waiting for a day like this in my life. Sometimes I thought I wouldn't make it because it was so tough. I was going through the greatest emotional turmoil of my life. I worried so much about what the future looks like. Now, I don't worry anymore because I am in the future.

Everyday Gratitude

 Today I am grateful for life. I am grateful for good health. I am grateful for peace. Just being happy without anything being responsible for it. I am grateful for all the things I have in my life. I am grateful for my friends and the good people I have around me. I am grateful for love. I haven't found one yet but I am grateful. I am grateful for slow living. Waking up everyday, not rushing over anything and just living. So far, the feeling is wonderful. And I learned to trust God through the frustrations, obstacles, fears, tears and rejections. In my life I have seen the power of God. This is why I keep myself for Him and stay faithful to Him. No matter who I turn out to be, I will be grateful to God. I have gone through a lot already but each day, I thank God that those obstacles, bitterness and frustrations never took my life. I kept living. Gubi Dam, Bauchi State

Dear Diary, 6:45pm Nigerian Time We also took a drive to Gubi Dam and water plant. A place where water are cleansed and stored. We were taken through the journey of water purification through the application of chemicals like Chlorine, Alum and the rest. The Gubi Dam is a very big dam meant for only the indigenes of the state.  I had an exciting time today. May the day break. Till some other time. Elizabeth Diaries ❤️
