Gratitude Day 13/24

 Dear Diary,

8:19pm Nigerian Time 🇳🇬

Fleshy cheek stares at me each time I look at the mirror. Now than before, I look so full. I glow, I shine and very happy. Maybe it is as a result of my carrot eating or a mere peace of mind and rest. I have never been this full that everyone talks about me. Stress is never a good thing. Now, I am at peace with myself.  I love myself and make my cup overflowing with love. I am enjoying my singlehood. I am enjoying my life now. So, I want to thank God for being there for me and my dear diary for giving me a space to heal myself, heal my pains and discover who I am. I thank myself also for devoting time for me. For being easy with me. For being good to me, before anyone else. For forgiving me. For being kind to me. I love myself and I will keep loving myself everyday.

BE INTENTIONAL

 I say this again and again. Be intentional about anything you want in life. Be intentional about your journey, your dreams, your wants and your healing. Along my healing journey, I discovered the power of intentions. Say what you want and stick to it. Do what you want to do and stick to it. Be consistent at it. Choose what makes you happy and that which fulfills you. Don't chose anything for yourself because a friend said so, your parents said so or everyone said so. Do things with intention. Have a purpose and the reason you do the things you do. Focus! Always focus. There are a whole lot of distractions out there that can make you stumble if you are not focused. Be intentional about your healing. Personally, I had to say no to dating and marriage until I healed completely. I don't want to repeat the mistakes I saw my mother or any other woman did. Everyday Gratitude

 Today I am grateful for life. I am grateful for good health. I am grateful for peace. Just being happy without anything being responsible for it. I am grateful for all the things I have in my life. I am grateful for my friends and the good people I have around me. I am grateful for love. I haven't found one yet but I am grateful. I am grateful for slow living. Waking up everyday, not rushing over anything and just living. So far, the feeling is wonderful. And I learned to trust God through the frustrations, obstacles, fears, tears and rejections. In my life I have seen the power of God. This is why I keep myself for Him and stay faithful to Him. No matter who I turn out to be, I will be grateful to God. I have gone through a lot already but each day, I thank God that those obstacles, bitterness and frustrations never took my life. I kept living.
