Gratitude Day 8/24

Dear Diary,

Thursday, 18th February 2021

1: 48pm Nigerian Time

Today I am utmost grateful to God for keeping me alive to witness my POP(Passing out parade) even though the parade wasn't observed due to wide spread of the pandemic. It is a thing of joy for me to pass out alongside my colleagues. I came, I saw and I conquered. It was a little stay, but today it seems like three years already in Bauchi State. I have a lot of good memories and wonderful stories to tell. Today is no such day. I am grateful for this opportunity of serving my father land.

Long live NYSC!

Long live Bauchi State!

Long live Nigeria!

Long live Elizabeth Diaries! ❤️

Everyday Gratitude

 Today I am grateful for life. I am grateful for good health. I am grateful for peace. Just being happy without anything being responsible for it. I am grateful for all the things I have in my life. I am grateful for my friends and the good people I have around me. I am grateful for love. I haven't found one yet but I am grateful. I am grateful for slow living. Waking up everyday, not rushing over anything and just living. So far, the feeling is wonderful. And I learned to trust God through the frustrations, obstacles, fears, tears and rejections. In my life I have seen the power of God. This is why I keep myself for Him and stay faithful to Him. No matter who I turn out to be, I will be grateful to God. I have gone through a lot already but each day, I thank God that those obstacles, bitterness and frustrations never took my life. I kept living. Gubi Dam, Bauchi State

Dear Diary, 6:45pm Nigerian Time We also took a drive to Gubi Dam and water plant. A place where water are cleansed and stored. We were taken through the journey of water purification through the application of chemicals like Chlorine, Alum and the rest. The Gubi Dam is a very big dam meant for only the indigenes of the state.  I had an exciting time today. May the day break. Till some other time. Elizabeth Diaries ❤️
