Gratitude Day 6/24

 Dear Diary,

Wednesday, 10th February 2021

10:17pm Nigerian Time

Today I am grateful for the humans God placed in my life. Over my stay here in Bauchi State, I met a new girl, my friend. She is Igbo. She can't walk well. She can't talk too as a result of injury and shock sustained from an accident. Despite this, she is really nice. She makes hair, she makes my hair and I pay her. Also, she knit hair net and other clothing. I have known how to communicate with her using the sign language. I noticed that I understand her even more than I could ever imagined. She is extremely nice. I know when she is happy and when she is sad. She even cooked me noodles. So, I am grateful I met her and many other kind humans that life made me come across them.

Everyday Gratitude

 Today I am grateful for life. I am grateful for good health. I am grateful for peace. Just being happy without anything being responsible for it. I am grateful for all the things I have in my life. I am grateful for my friends and the good people I have around me. I am grateful for love. I haven't found one yet but I am grateful. I am grateful for slow living. Waking up everyday, not rushing over anything and just living. So far, the feeling is wonderful. And I learned to trust God through the frustrations, obstacles, fears, tears and rejections. In my life I have seen the power of God. This is why I keep myself for Him and stay faithful to Him. No matter who I turn out to be, I will be grateful to God. I have gone through a lot already but each day, I thank God that those obstacles, bitterness and frustrations never took my life. I kept living. Gubi Dam, Bauchi State

Dear Diary, 6:45pm Nigerian Time We also took a drive to Gubi Dam and water plant. A place where water are cleansed and stored. We were taken through the journey of water purification through the application of chemicals like Chlorine, Alum and the rest. The Gubi Dam is a very big dam meant for only the indigenes of the state.  I had an exciting time today. May the day break. Till some other time. Elizabeth Diaries ❤️
