Gratitude 2/24

 Dear Diary,

27th January 2021

5:38pm Nigerian Time

Today I am grateful for growth. Emotional growth, spiritual growth, educational growth and otherwise. I was born, I became a baby, I started crawling, then I began walking. I started school, from Nursery to Primary and I moved over to secondary school. Fortunately I was privileged to go to University, graduated and now, I am serving my father land. The process wasn't an easy one. It involved sleepless nights, stressful days and lots of hard work. I am grateful for the little wins and achievements. Since I discovered self-love, my life was never the same again.

WORK GIVES FULFILLMENT

Work is life, life is work. Work is fulfillment. Work saves us from depression, anxiety, frustrations of life, death and troubles. Also, it pays our bills. So a person who isn't working is a dead soul. Even though your parents are well to do or your brother, husband or whosoever is catering for you, it is good you have something doing. This is very necessary because at the end of the day, you see a housewife complaining about money and her husband's behaviours. What happens when they person catering for you dies or in cases of accident or eventuality? Everyone was born with a purpose, a calling and dreams. You discover your purpose and pursue your self development. You go to school, you learn a trade or skill, you perfect your craft, you create time for yourself and your hobbies, you develop yourself in any way you can. Everyday Gratitude

 Today I am grateful for life. I am grateful for good health. I am grateful for peace. Just being happy without anything being responsible for it. I am grateful for all the things I have in my life. I am grateful for my friends and the good people I have around me. I am grateful for love. I haven't found one yet but I am grateful. I am grateful for slow living. Waking up everyday, not rushing over anything and just living. So far, the feeling is wonderful. And I learned to trust God through the frustrations, obstacles, fears, tears and rejections. In my life I have seen the power of God. This is why I keep myself for Him and stay faithful to Him. No matter who I turn out to be, I will be grateful to God. I have gone through a lot already but each day, I thank God that those obstacles, bitterness and frustrations never took my life. I kept living.
